Disturbingly amazing.

Sorry about last week. I had an accident at work and cut my finger open really bad. Had to get stitches and it was of course my middle finger on my drawing hand. I am better now and here is the comic. Hope you enjoy.

Schuyler really punched this up and took a less than funny script I wrote and turned it funny. Even when he is supposed to be on vacation I still make him work.

Too long unseen characters return for this strip that should be the start of a story arc. I was reading back through the archives the other day and was really enjoying it, finding that I missed some of the characters we don't use as much now. My hope is that this arc can bring some of them back.

This thing will be a writing colab between myself and sky. He has enrolled in school and it is my hope to help ease his burder by helping him write the comic for a few weeks. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it.

My apologies about no comic last week, there was some unexpected and unforunate developments for my family that needed to be dealt with.

However there is new comics now, so look at it in awe. Or shame. Which ever you think is more appropiate. Schuyler has indeed started attending classes again, which is great news. With this in mine cut us some slack the next few weeks while we figure out how much school work he has. There might even be a few strips written by yours truly. So who knows. I can tell you are excited though.

The comic is still coming. I'm trying to draw it. I was vacationing this past weekend, and I thought I'd give Pogues a little one too. I did something online with Sumo Paint, but I hate it. I'm going to try and do something a little better.

New comic. This apparently happened when Schuyler and his lovely wife got chinese over the weeked. Makes you wonder. Fame and fortune here we come.

In other news I updated my livejournal with two new post. Nothing that exciting. Also updated my deviantArt with similar stuff and a work in progress I am doing if you are so interested in that sort of thing.

Lastely, Streetlight Manifesto released their new album yesterday and it is amazing. 99 Songs of Revolution vol. 1 is a cover album and one of the best I have ever heard. Streetlight covering "Punk Rock Girl", "Me and Julio" and "Such Great Heights" is enough to make me all excited. Its nice to know they like some of the same bands I do haha. I eagerly await the release of more volumes, but who knows how that will work out since their record label and them are in a bit of a fight as usual. Check out the album if you are so inclined and buy it here. Ten dollars plus a free poster. Same goes for the vinyl or buy a t-shirt with it and get it for $18. How is that not a great deal? I just bought a bunch of stuff from their site. Try not to buy it from a store though as their record label pretty much rapes them of any money they get from those sales.

Schuyler got me this sucker Monday afternoon. Gives me extra time to make it still look like shit! There are a lot of text balloons in this one, hope they make sense the way they flow.

Haven't updated my LJ this week like I said I would, although I have been drawing. It's just been mostly sketches so nothing worth while posting. I did put up a few sketches on my deviantart page, but nothing ground breaking or really worth viewing. I have been spending a lot of time looking at deviant art and I am shamed by some of these people's skills and the ease at which they work in their style. Also been going to posemaniacs and doing the random poses viewer, because in case you guys haven't noticed I suck at drawing poses (and most everything else). Check it out.
