Hangar Rats
About the Authors:

Michael 'Big Sky' Schuyler:
'Big Sky' started his career writing dialogue for Kleenex commercials in the early 90's. He hit the big time when his first novel, Computers, Dames, and Laughs, landed number two on the New York Bestsellers' List in 1996. He followed it up with his second book, It's the Best, about a girls journey to Albuquerque to find her estranged brother. The books overt sexual tones caused it to be boycotted by a number of bookstores and Oprah's book club. Schuyler went on a hiatus in 1999 and virtually disappeared from the literati scene. He resurfaced in 2001 when the rights to his first book were optioned for a film. At the same time he released his modern classic First Law, a crime noir story about a robot and a human detective duo investigating the murder of a billionaire philanthropist in a futuristic world. Despite its sci-fi theme the book garnered mainstream attention and spent one week at number one on the Bestsellers' List. Back on top of his game Schuyler turned to what he considered the new forum for writing, the internet. Returning to his comedy roots of his first novel Schuyler created Rose City, combining his love of writing with his love of comic books. He is also a freelance writer and frequent contributor to Playboy. His book, First Law is currently being optioned for a motion picture starring Cuba Gooding Jr, as the robot detective and Ed Harris as his human partner.

Pogues Mahone:
Pogues Mahone is probably most famous for his work on a number of Tijuana Bibles, publishing some 156 bibles in just 2 years. His most famous involving Wonder Woman, Little Orphan Annie and The Shadow. He spent a few years working in obscurity doing story boards for a small time film company before being discovered by an independent comic book company. Set to release a finite series under the label his attempt to launch an art career was cut short by a scandal, which forced his publishers to withdrawal their offer. With his dreams of fame destroyed Pogues settled for publishing a less than popular webcomic, Hangar Rats. After spending years as a penniless artist he was pulled from the gutter by the back-on-top Schuyler to do the art for his webcomic endeavors. Currently Pogues attempts to draw a number of webcomics under Collective Comics logo. He also subsidizes his income by drawing commissions and selling the original art for his Tijuana Bibles on eBay. If you see him in public please say hello, he is a very lonely person.
